Bill Hancock has been a mechanic for 39+ years. He graduated from Harford Vocational Technical High School, in 1983, with 2 years training and an automotive certificate. He opened his first automotive shop, CPR Auto, in 2000. Then continued on to purchase Fishhook Auto and re-brand to Wasilla Family Auto in 2018. Bill was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and moved to Alaska in 1985. He married his wife Angie in 2001 combining their families and adding to it. Together they have four children and a grandbaby.
Bill has had aspirations to own a dealership with attached auto repair shop. He has been working towards that goal since he got his business license for AFAS in 2014. Currently his dealership, Alaskan Family Auto Sales, is running out of the WFA building. Aside from repairing cars (and running three businesses) he can be found cruising the highways of Alaska on his Harley. He also enjoys drag racing, fishing, boating, camping, building, and UFC matches. His favorite holiday is Father's Day and he loves to make dad jokes.
