Bill’s Auto Repair Background & Experience
Bill became interested in auto repair when he was in high school back in Maryland. He attended Harford Vocational Technical High School for Automotive and graduated in 1983. Then, in 1985, he moved to Alaska to be closer to his father and worked at many auto repair shops in Anchorage, while saving up money to open his first shop. In 2000, CPR Automotive started out on Viking Drive in the Port of Anchorage and has since moved to 1341 Bragaw Street in Anchorage, next door to a Holiday gas station. The business has prospered and grown to be one of Anchorage’s best auto repair shops.
Today, Bill has nearly 40 years of auto repair experience. He was a certified I/M technician for the duration of Alaska's I/M program, and he has been ASE-certified in brakes, suspension and steering, and automatic transmissions. Bill and all the mechanics at Wasilla Family Auto regularly attend training classes from all our parts vendors when available.
